The first PaperCamp happened as part of BookCamp. There were lots of interesting people doing interesting things with paper and technology.

Then, in 2010, we decided, at the very last minute, to do another one. Basically, I'd booked the hall, no one else wanted it and we thought we could probably get it all organised in a week.

It turned out to be enormous fun. Fewer people, less talking, lots of doing. It became the model for Interesting 2011.
